TIM DANIEL BATTELINO IS A DESIGNER AND WRITER BASED IN CHINATOWN, NEW YORK. HE WAS BORN AND RAISED IN LJUBLJANA, SLOVENIA, WHERE HE BEGAN DEVELOPING HIS INTERESTS IN ARCHITECTURE, DESIGN, LANGUAGES AND EARLY CLASSICAL MUSIC. HE RECEIVED HIS BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN ARCHITECTURE FROM POLITECNICO DI MILANO IN MILAN, ITALY AND HOLDS A MASTERS IN ARCHITECTURE FROM COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY GRADUATE SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE, PLANNING AND PRESERVATION.

HE HAS PARTICIPATED IN NUMEROUS ARCHITECTURAL EXHIBITIONS, INCLUDING SALONE DEL MOBILE IN MILAN, AND WAS ONE OF THE CURATORS OF THE SLOVENIAN PAVILION AT 2018 VENICE BIENNALE. TIM WAS ONE OF THE RECIPIENTS OF 2019 KINNE TRAVEL FELLOWSHIP FOR HIS RESEARCH PROPOSAL ON ABANDONED OLYMPIC INFRASTRUCTURE IN SARAJEVO, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA.
